The neck collar bird had an attitude and relayed that he was the leader of the pack. Photo tip of the day. Go to your public library and check out videos on photography along with books and magazines. I know it's human nature to get a camera and want instant results. People have the tendency of wanting to shoot great images immediately. I bet I've read my camera handbook end to end a hundred times. You'll be amazed what they can do. You may not use all of it, most likely only a very small portion. Really concentrate on its focusing mechanisms and options. A subject moving cross-ways versus straight at you requires different shutter speeds and focusing techniques.

gosh, not only do I wish I could take pictures like that ... but I wish I could get into some snows this spring. Never done it. Looks really fun. Dont have any decoys, so I might have to find some to jump shoot...

Look at all that falling poop in the first photo. Are these fresh photos from your area? Guess I need to head up to the river.

Those are unreal photo Jim, how far away were you from the feeding geese. It appears to be in your face? Not sure if that is mud falling off of their feet or dropping, very cool picture

You know that you images are legite when you can see the eyeballs of the birds. I love the way that you emphasize one main part of the each image. the rest of the image is drowned out by your main focus. Great work!

Good Hunting!
