Will these FB Mallards have motion bases? Or do you have another base for the sleepers and resters? Seems like a RealFeet base would be more appropriate for this type of body style. Any pics yet?

I've been wondering the same thing. Hopefully there isn't motion on these dekes. Thanks for any info.

Seems like we were all thinking the same thing, doesnt make any sence to have a sleeping duck moving around to much

Or what about no base at all.... just sit straight on the ground? Works for me.

Yeah that would work, dont you want the Orange legs showing? Well, I guess you dont have to have them, but I would like to see some kind of base. Thats just me.

Based upon the pic I saw, looked like they came with coffee cans for bases

Why would I want the orange legs showing? If the legs are under the body then you won't see them.
Here's a pic:

Ok you can see just a tad bit of the drake's leg, but is it enough to make a whole base for?

Nope, you are right. I can't argue with that, but they at least rest half of the time sitting on the ground. And sleeping most of the time on the ground. I don't expect to have bases for all of the resting and sleeping decoys. In fact it wouldn't hurt my feelings if they left them all out.
It was just a thought. I am sure we will have some sort of base for them.

The Rester/Sleeper base might just be a cool as the actual decoys themselves! No pictures yet because we are still tweeking the designs so we can decide between two really good concepts. We have not applied for the patents on these two designs yet so we are not able to show you anything. In fact, we are not even able to describe the base designs as much as it is killing us not to. This product copying crap has gotten so ridiculous that we are forced to keep the lid on lots of things like this, but I did want to tell you that you will love the bases. Oh, I can tell you that these will not be "motion" bases because, as you guys have already pointed out, resting and sleeping birds are basically motionless.
We should be able to post photos of actual Rester and Sleeper FBM's on Rester/Sleeper bases within a month.
Thanks,
Tom

Tom, Now you have got me excited about the new base. If new base lets me place resting/sleeping decoys very natural settings like sand bars, stubble fields, shallow water, ice, mud flats and wheat stubble equally well displayed
is something to get excited about.
cool

Hey Ronnie....I'm with ya. Just in some cases, don't even use the base. Like on the edge of an ice flow, shore, a low cut grain field or something like that.
Ronnie.....I almost like you.....cuz you remind me of me.....LMAO.
Do you still do any carving for GHG...., Ronnie?
