Hey guys, I'm kind of new to this, but am the kind that likes to get the good stuff the first time, so I got some of your FFD goose decoys and your Cabelas real image ducks. Now my problem is that inbetween all of my dog training stuff, and my hunting stuff, I've eliminated my entire garage to any vehicles, and the wife isn't too happy. I was wondering if I can put these dekes in the attic (I live in Memphis, so it's hot) without causing any damage? Is there a certain way that I should hang them, or will the heat just tear them apart. I want to take good care of these things, so if there is the possibility of damage, then I'll come up with a different solution. Maybe I'll just sell my car and buy a bike. At least that way I would have more money to spend on your stuff. :D
Thanks!

Jay,
I store my FFD Elites in a enclosed trailer that does not have a vent. I have not had any problems. I have decoys hanging and standing in the trailer. The one thing I avoid is stacking decoys on top of each other. If the decoys are stacked, it may cause deformities during the dog days of summer.

If your attic is like mine, there are no skylights. However, if you have a section where the sun can shine in, you'll want to avoid storing them there as well. Not only to cut down on a "magnifying glass" effect, but the UV rays can potentially cause some fading over time.
Thanks for using our products!

Try storing them in an Avery 6-slot or 12-slot decoy bag. That will keep them apart and will be better for storing.

We have found that the temperatures reach up to a 120 degree in the containers that these decoys ship in. I don't think you will see any problems storing them in your attic.

I highest temp in my attic was 129.9F. It was one of the hottest days of the year. The decoys ended up being fine. No whats funny though, going up there in the heat and then feeling 90F feels like heaven LOL.
