As I have said before I have sold all of my decoys adn I am planning on buying all FFD's. The only decoys I have left are a dozen of teh o/s shells from last year. I don't want to sell these and buy new ones because I am already buying a dozen of the FFD sleeper shells. I am planning on flocking the tails of the shells, but I was wondering if there was anything esle I coudl do to make sure they dont' shine. It really doesn't make sense to have all FFD's and then have these few shells shine. Could I just sprinkle flockign over the back or what do yuo think? thanks guys for all your help on all my questions I have had, I appreciate it.

If we can get enough orders for them, we are going to produce a flocking kit that is tan. The black kits are being ordered by retailers pretty good, but the tan is kind of slow. I think the tan kit will be the answer to your questions.

Thanks,

You can mix flocking and paint colors to come up with various shades of gray and brown. I have used white, black and brown flocking with varying flat paint base coverage. The decoy I have attached is an old Herters shell; before and after.

That is pretty good for the full body flocking job. The main thing is that the decoys will not shine on those bright sunny days.
