Going to post a bunch of pics in a row here, they are a sequence of a BIG bunch we did yesterday. I had my zoom on, so pictured are only a fraction of the geese in the picture that were actually in the spread. They were landing all over. Made 8-9 swings and more and more birds landed every swing!!! In the past alot of times the first or second swing was their best. Hunting over the GHG fullbodies this year has been amazing, with a little patience they keep getting better...

 I would have to be in a straight jacket not to pop out of the blind and start blasting! GREAT photos! More proof that those decoys work really well. Tony, how many dekes were you running?

Tony...man I wish we had Specks out here on the right coast! I know, I know, you say we have Brant. Well Brant are indeed a cool little goose but specks eat better!
Great pics...Ruff has a well-deserved off-season in his future.

Those are awesome...just shows how much those GHG fullbodies really do work!!! I dont think I could have waited that long....I think once they were inside 30 yards its go time...especially with them in your face like that....you guys are amazing tho and I hope to see some video from these hunts sometime in the near future!! keep at it boys!

Rob, won't be much off season for Ruff dog, when we finish up with whitey it will be back to training! Most of the geese are through MO now, but we will be following them north in the coming weeks!
IAwaterfowler, after seeing these decoys in action this spring, there is definitely no reason to get anxious when they break the 40 yard mark. They just keep getting better. This might be hard to believe, but we never even fired a shot into this flock!!!! We have had so many incredible hunts this spring, I decided to just shoot with the Nikon on this bunch!! The geese that landed actually fed in the decoys and eventually filtered out of the spread 1-20 at a time for a half hour or better. It was a sight to see!! Avery Pro Staffer Kyle Scott had watched this field for a couple days. After seeing him and his friend Rich shoot, I have NO doubts they would have been RAINING geese out of this bunch!! Sometimes we get so keyed up on the shooting we really don't get a chance to sit back and 'take it all in', and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. After all, that is why we are out there! It is just nice to kick back and watch every now and then without worrying about when to shoot, etc.

Tony-I have nothing wrong with that either. There was numberous times this past fall that we let honkers land and feed around for awhile before they left and its awesome to know that you had them that dooped. I know I would have had a hard time because I've never had snows like that around me, where you boys have it all the time. The only snows and blues I've ever killed were ones in the fall that we got lucky on and came in with a group of honks or tried to skirt the honker spread and I got lucky and scratched one out. Very well done and you boys have obviously done your homework! I might get an oppertunity to hunt with a buddy of mine along the Mississippi this week down in Ft. Madison for a day or two but its still really iffy...depends on what the other guys in their group say which I'm hoping and praying will be yes as it will be my second ever spring hunt and the first one was jus to get out of the house for awhile which there was nothing wrong with! But we only had 200 rags out and with adults that really wont even come close to doing it....their set up is about 4,000 of various types of decoys.....Where at in Missouri are you boys hunting? Still seeing good numbers of geese?

Tony,
Glad you could make it over. We took a few more today. We are going to let them rest and hope they stick around until Monday.
If those pictures don't prove a point about the effectiveness of the GHG full body snows and blues, I don't know what would.

Those pics are incredible. I dont think i could handle myself with that many snows dropping in like that. I have a hard enough time with flocks of 5 to 10! Nice jobs on the pics. They are truely awsome.

In the first pic on the second page, there are actually several birds in the decoys. These decoys are as realistic as they come!!
