Will the new Avery dog blind have a snow cover available for this fall/winter?

Yes Gentlemen...

Will the snow cover for the dog blind be ready for this fall? I recall a post some time ago when it was mentioned by a few of us. Any chances that it is in production soon?

thanks

Their probably just putting the finishing touches on it.

Actually, we are looking at redesigning the whole dog blind. The final decision has not been made yet. I have not seen any plans for a snow cover for the existing dog blind.

Rick-

Does the new design have a lower profile by any chance? The only thing I would have changed with mine is simply the height.

The design that I saw was lower and very simple to set-up. It wasn't a finished sample, but it should be relatively close to what I saw.

It is very close to being finished. David is going to China next Tuesday and will have the final version done a few days after his arrival. We just need to tweek a couple of hinges and move a few things around to get it just right. It is lower profile than any dog blind on the market, and it folds up in seconds. You are going to love the sturdy aluminum frame and the roominess if offers!

Judging from Tom's post, I would say yes it should be finished for this fall.

A snow cover would be the icing on the cake. :)

I am curious to the height of the finished product. I love the dog blind but have always hoped for lower profile.

Thanks Guys

The last prototype we were testing was as low as 17", and I think that is about where it will end up. It is way down there!

Tom,

That's great, thanks for the reply. That is one of the main reasons I am such a big Avery supporter (besides the fact that Fred does amazing things with the decoys) is that you do not just rest on your laurels, no matter what the product, you strive to improve. You have proved this with the full bodies, the new lower profile blind and now this.

Thanks
