What is the difference between the new floater geese and the old 2002-2003 ? The decoys size detail paint color are the variables I was wondering about.

The first oversize Canada Floaters didn't come with flocked heads. Where abouts in IL you from?

I'm from the wonderfully boring city of Wheaton. Is there any difference in the other variables i.e. paint, size, quality?

As far as I know, everything else is pretty much the same.

I don't fully understand if you are asking about any changes to the Over- Sized Canada Floaters or are talking about the new Life-Sized Canada Floaters. As Tony said, the 2003 OS Floaters did not have flocked heads, nor do I believe there was a Sleeper Head available that year. All heads are now flocked, and the Sleeper Heads can be purchased (as an accessory) for any of the previous OS Series. As far as changes to the OS Series, they are getting a new and improved head connection. Check it out-

Now, the LS Canada Goose Floater is new for this year, and it is awesome. They are in an Active pose, sold 4 in a box, and should retail about $25 less than the OS, depending on the dealer. See for yourself-

I would venture to say that the LS Series will probably see many more head poses in the near future.
