I going to buy a new blind, but I would like you guys to weigh in on the differances between the Finisher, Migrater, and if any one knows anything new about the new blind. Thanks for any input.

Andy,

The Finisher and Migrator are both great blinds and will get the job done in comfort. What you need to think about is your hunting situation and what type of hunting you do. If you have to pack in a lot of your gear, then you might want to look at the Finisher. It folds down much smaller than the Migrator and will be eaiser to pack in.

If you are able to drive into alot of your fields and space is not an issue, then I would go with the Migrator becauase of the room that this blind has. I am a big guy 6'01" 240 lbs and have no problem at all with having enough room and I don't have to worry about knocking the lids open when I go to look behind me. Some guys might say that the Migrator is to big and that you will not be able to hide it.

He is a picture of a Migrator in the middle of a grass field. I added some green Killer Weed and you can see the end results.

I own a finsher and a power hunter, both in shadow grass. The finisher fits me just fine (5'10" 175 lbs). I have plenty of space and I can hide it well. as said in the earlier post. the Finisher folds while the Migrator does not. im sure either can be a good choice but if you can fit in a Finisher you can save a few bucks and get more decoys for next year:D .

Here is a Pic of a Finisher with some birds for that morning.

I have a migrator and a powerhunter. The migrator is like sitting in the lazy boy watching tv. The powerhunter is super low profile, and blends well. If i were you i would wait and see the new ground force blind before i cant wait til i get mine. Oh i am 6'2" and 335.

Being you and sean are about the same size, I would probably go with the Migrator.

All of their blinds have their application that they are best suited. Of all the blinds that we have manufactured in the past my personal favorite has been the Finisher as I think it was the best all-around. That is until this year...The new Groundforce is the deal in my opinion. The blind sets up and is taken down in seconds, has a large cockpit, and is low in profile. I guess what I am trying to say is, I would check on the GF before you made your purchase.

Don't know many differences, but I can fill you in on some good features on the finisher.

I like the finisher because it is big. (Big enough for me at least. I know it fits 6'+ tall people.) Very roomy, a flag hole, a flag holder, a cup holder, a pocket with a velcro top, easy to fold up, and conceals awesome. (Especially with Fast-Grass.)

I say try out the finisher. Everyone I know that has one likes them.

I really like hunting out of the Power Hunter, because of the ease of set up and packing into the field. The Finisher is a great all around blind, especially when the weather gets bad. I think this year will be the year of the Ground Force. This blind folds up and has back pack straps like the Power Hunter but is roughly the same size as the Finisher. You guys are going to love this blind.

Gotta love my finisher when hunting the shores of the local lake because it takes up a lot less space in the boat and we usually have 2 or 3 blinds in the boat. My dad has a Migrator and I love that thing when we are able to drive to our spot and as long as you have a truck or lay down the back seat of an SUV they are totally worth it. I might have to get a migrator here soon as my finisher gets tighter and tighter as I grow (in 6'5" almost and predicted at 6'7"-6'10" when I'm done). All in all I love em both and they both have their advantages and disadvantages but any of the Avery blinds you will be very satisfied!

What kind of info do you want??? I dont think anyone has the dimentions, but the retail for the shadow grass is around $200 +/-, and the field khaki $170 +/-. Hope that is the info you are looking for. What state are you from.

Finisher is still my favorite all around blind, BUT our new Ground Force Blind is AWESOME. But it will not be out until this fall.
I like its pack ability. The blind itself is similar to the Finisher but it packs up like a Power Hunter. Fred has done it again with a great design.

With all the hype around the new ground force I may end up owning one of those as well. Oh well, one needs options anyways.
