the time as almost come. In about two months I will be turning 16. My dad said he will help me buy a truck later on in the summer. I cant wait. I am working alot trying to get some money together. What do you guys think would look cool on a truck? I'm going to be getting like a '98 F-150. I was thinking decals on the back and a bullet grill. I want a lift kit for it but the price is going to hurt me on that one. Maybe in a couple years. ALso, if anyone had any pics of their trucks post them up. I would love to see them.
Thanks

Let me tell you from experience. I'm 18, so I was where you were not very long ago. I don't think you can go wrong with that truck...cough get a Chevy cough. Just kidding lol. When I was gettin ready to turn 16, I wanted all of that extra stuff at first, but when gas starts goin up this Summer, you will be glad you didn't get that lift kit. Just get some good mud tires on it. All that extra money can be spent on insurance, gas, repairs, and what's left over...DECOYS!!! As far as decals, put hunting names that you support.

younggun1,
That is a good truck. I remember when I was sixteen. Anyway,I agree 100% with what Mark said. Save your money for the lift kit. Having money for PROPER repairs is the key to a fine tuned operating automobile. Besides, if you don't have those things installed properly, you will have a lot of problems down the road. Good Luck. Be safe.

Thats a good truck. Like others have said don't bother with the lift. While they may appeal to the eye of some folks they are expensive, not practical and cause problems with other accessories.
Here is my 2000 F150 with new 33" BFG Mud Terrain on Pro Comp polished wheels. Get one with the "off-road" pkg. No lift kit needed.

rj45,
Do you have a leveling kit on that truck or is it completely stock? I'm about to buy a 1999 F-150 Ex. Cab.
