Here are a few pictures of my new trailer. I have everything about the way I want it except I need a way to store blinds and shell decoys. The last picture shows the room I have to work with its about 6-7 feet in the front.

Dustin,
Great looking set up. I stored my GHG O.S. Shells stacked in piles of a dozen shells per pile on the floor of my trailer. I used hooks similar to the ones in the picture to hang my Power Hunters and Finisher blinds in the trailer. I used a GHG Pothole Decoy Bag for the storage of my shell heads. I hung the decoy bag on another hook to conviniently store the heads.

thanks Rusty...That was our original idea with those racks in the picture but the blinds stick out quite a bit and i was thinking maybe like standing them up on the end against the wall and bungy them in standing up or something. I'm not real sure i'm sure we'll end up storing our GHG shells in rubbermaid tubs or something. Thanks any other ideas would be great. I know you guys have ideas.

Thats a nice looking trailer and set up when I get mine I might use shelving cause it looks like they rub together and alot of mine will have motion base. How many do you have hanging on the poles?

We have around 80 hanging on the poles we have more room to add brackets and poles in the middle of all those poles for when we load all our decoys in there. If we fill the trailer we will be able to hold around 120 hanging and we are going to stack all the motion decoys in the front in 6 slots.

Well D....Looks like the only thing you need are some Avery/GHG decals....of course!

The way I store my blinds is vertically. I stand them (closed) on end along a wall, then run a bungee across them;hooked into an eye bolt on either side.
Also I always have a metal (dirt type) rake, shovel, broom, and Avery extendable decoy retriever pole in my trailer. I have one of those metal racks that kind of clamps the tool hands and holds them snug but I still put a small bungee across that.
Dirt rake is for collecting corn, milo, grass stubble in the field to "grass" the blinds. Shovel is used to dig in blinds thus lowering the profile of my Finishers. Broom is to knock off frost, mud, etc... from decoys. Avery pole is for the off chance a decoy or bird falls in a pond and we don't have a dog with us. Also have some unique spares in the trailer too but thats another story.

headhunter...i bought the trailer from a guy who only used it a few times and didn't need it anymore. needless to say i got a great deal on it. Just shop around and find someone who wants to get rid of theirs. They will tend to hold their value and you will be able to keep it as long as you want.
That is the idea that i was thinking also with the bungee cords. I think thats the most efficient way to get the most space out of the trailer. Thanks for the replies guys

Dustin, what is the size of that trailer? What do you pull it with, and what is your MPG? I am looking at a new trailer and not sure how big to go, little worried about pulling it since I run probably 12-18,000 miles a year with one for hunting.....and Diesel is suppost to hit $3.50/gal this summer/fall. I have been looking at a 7x16, think I finally out grew my 6x12.

It is 7 x 16...I pull it with a '97 F-150 I'm not sure about what kind of mileage i get with it as I just got it a couple months ago and haven't really went anywhere with it.

Roger that, would guess 7-9mpg after talking to folks with the same size trailer and a gas engine....hoping you had a Disesel, hate to make the plung if my mpg is going south....then again after this spring I can only go up I hope.
