I just bought 3 dz. GHG OS canada shells, 1.5 dz. are sleepers and other half are active/resters. How do you mix your shells in with your full bodies? I also have 1.5 dz. GHG hunter seriers FBs. Diagram would be nice but any info./ advise is helpfull.
Thanks.

Try to make it look like a real flock of geese. Take mental notes of how birds are sitting in relation to each other while you are out scouting.
Here are a few examples of how I use the shells in conjunction with the fullbodies...

Tony has used that type of setup in the late season and from what I have heard he has done O.K. ;). But, yes, Tony is right. Make it look like the geese you have been watching. Those sleepers will provide high octane action in the late season on a sandbar....you can bet on that!!!

I try and set them up like the other guys said, just like what I see the geese doing there when scouting. Late season is a great time for shells. Early in the year they can be effective as well, more so with motion stakes, but I rarely use them then. Once the lakes start freezing up, then the shells come out.

Nice Pictures, the water rings around the bird on the water says it all. To mimic nature = success.
