Just wanted to give GHG a thumb up for their motion base.

We hunted snows for the last 23 days, using some GHG full body snows, using the motion base, and I was quite impressed to see how fine they held in winds up to 50 mph, we did not even used the motion stakes, the motion base got the job done right, even in strong winds.

I had to stop hunting snows this week, since I am moving into our new house next weekend ... bum!

I intend to add more of these to our set up, by the fall and next spring.

I should have some pics by the end of the week.

I should get my pics tomorrow, don't forget that here we are hunting greater snows, and that the numbers are not as impressive as the lesser snows we used to hunt in Manitoba and Sakatchewan.

The population of greater snows is around 1 million birds compared to 6-8 millions for the lesser snows ...

Anyway last thursday we ended up with our limits, 40 greater snows between 2 men and 1 great dog ... had a few days in the 30-35 birds range, then the rest was a 12 birds a day average.

Pics are coming soon ...

Just trying to do my share in saving the Tundra ...

Keep the pictures coming. Thanks for the great feedback on the products. It is always good to hear that the products hold up to the torture that we as hunters put on our gear.

I apologize if my pictures show other brands of decoys, but keep in mind that my original post was to congratulate GHG on their motion base, and I do plan to get more of them great snow dekes for the fall and for next spring season.

These are all the pics I will post as I will send most of them to magazines and sponsors, since I am collaborating with 3 magazines.
