I have three days left in my stay in France, and I'm getting ready to fly back home as I type and I just want to say thanks to everybody on the message boards and whoever is responsible for them being here, because you guys have been my contact with North America throughout my stay, and I've really appreciated that contact. The days when everything was getting to me, I'd just sign on to Avery and be able to discuss and read things posted by all of the members here that share my passion (obsession), and it really kept me from getting homesick throughout the three months I've been here. The positive atmosphere and appreciative and helpful comments are great here, and it really kept me from going insane, especially for the past week when Turkey season has been open at home and I'm a good thousand miles away!!!

I am glad that we were able to provide a "lifeline" for you during your extended trip abroad. Personally speaking I have looked forward to seeing your many posts and I don't anticipate that opinion changing upon your return. Have a safe trip home...I'm sure there is a big gobbler waiting for you.

I leave tommorow at 4:45 to kick off my 23 hours of conseceutive flights, car and bus rides to find myself back in Canada... and back to dial-up. I just want to thank the Avery Message board and its members for being my link to home and sanity throughout my stay,
