I was wondering if anyone knows what will the MSRP of the ATB Teal will be for this year?
Thanks,

Luke,

We are thinking that the retail of the ATB Teal will be $19.99. The retail of the ATB Mallard and SRS series duck will probably be $24.99.

Thanks,

I think its basically (emphasis on the basically) some plastic teal with with a rope tied to it that you throw so that dogs can chase after it and amuse themselves... although it looks good enough to be a decoy...

I have been training with the ATB Mallard over the last month and my dog really seems to like it. It it is very easy to throw, as well as for him to pick up and carry. These are going to be very welcomed addition to the already extensive Avery line. You guys are going to get a kick out of them.

Good Hunting!

Field Hudnall and I "shot" birds for the competitors at the Shelbyville SRS venue. During the particular series we helped with, they threw two ATB Mallards and two ATB Black and White Ducks (SRS). Both of the ATB's performed very well and their visibility with the rather lengthy marks was excellent. These are great products. Oh by the way...Neither Field or I missed a single bird!!!

Chaz, how did you get your hands on one of these? Did you steal it?

How do these compare to the dokken throws like material, scent retention, durability, price and son on. Are these also a lot better for holding with the risen v's. Just currious cause I have a dokken teal and my pup is getting bigger so lookin at gettin a mallard.
Thanks

Kevin, you don't know what an ATB is? Climb out from under that rock brother and jump onboard.

Aaron, "some pastic teal with a rope tied to it" ? You have to be kidding me. Hours upon hours went into the design and production of the new line of ATB's. Don't put your tongue in high speed if your brain can't keep up.

The ATB line, which consists of a Teal, Mallard and SRS is nothing like anything you have seen or trained with. It's head is very pliable, raised V-Grips to promote better holds, and a PVC coating that does not absorb water nor hold odor. The one thing that Aaron did tell the truth about was that they do look like the real thing. Picture to follow.

glpd- The ATB's are designed to be easier for the dog to hold, yes. What I have seen in the dogs, is that they appear to not have to bite as hard on the bird to hold it. I think this will promote a softer mouth in the dogs. I like this material better than the foam, as it does not get water logged and doesn't get any odors. As far as durabilty, I have only had mine a few monthes, but, I use them 2 times per day, every day. I toss them on gravel, grass, water, into trees, and every now and then one will skip across black top in a parking lot if it gets away from me. They have held up wonderfully.
Here is a shot of the "Monster" (Coot) with the SRS ATB. The SRS ATB is very easy for the dog and myself to mark. It stands out like a sore thumb when you throw it, and it has helped me with drills in a big way.

With our samples of the new ATB Teal, we have been training a couple puppies for the upcoming season. They love the teal ATBs. They are having no problems at all in picking them up or carrying them. Avery is taking the dog world by storm and I am loving it. These new ATBs look incredible, don't they?

Good Hunting!
