I wonder if they think it's THE call he actually used!!!

Is it possible that the bidders think that is the very same call Field Hundall used to win all the contests? The description may be slightly misleading, intentionally or unintentionally.

Travis as I was posting my response, you were posting the same thing. I think the bidders are mistaken.

I think it's just another one of those Ebay deals. You see some items on there that sell really cheap and others not so much. It has to do with uninformed buyers.

Amazing...with that kind of markup, a Grounds call would bring what, $400?:p

I'd say there are two bidders that are jacking up the price that are in with the seller to help put the screws to uninformed buyers.

That is unbelievable. I love my call, but I that price would be hard to handle. Travis, you may be right. I hope the person bidding doesn't think that that is Field's actual call.

a Guy from around my area sold enough bands on e-bay to buy a new Benelli.
I can see the point of buying say a Miner band or the Avery collar that was on there as a collectors item, but regular bands, what a joke. Heck, I could problably list my lanyard, collars, and taraus bands and buy a semi trailer full of Avery decoys.

Ok the guy who bumped the price to 245 just bought an ivory moneymaker last week on ebay for 137. So what's his deal?

The current winning bidder has bought all sorts of bands and an ab work out tape among other things.

I guess if you pay 250 for a call it would be nice to put some bling on it?? ;-)

I know what you mean, I've seen avery decoys bids higher than the price here in Canada, by the time you do the exchange these guys are paying $20 or more over retail some times.

The best is when people buy hunters series individually. They'll pay 20 bucks a decoy, plus another 20 for shipping!?!?
