Still waiting

I know its not a dire emergency to have them right now, but I'm still waiting for 3 Finisher snow covers that were ordered in December from Cabelas. They are still on backorder and every tentative arrival date for them comes and goes. My only concern is that my hunting buddies and I are planning on buying more decoys for this coming season...Do I have to place the order for them now too so we get them by October? Someone must have and idea on why I cant get the covers.

And after spending time with Cabelas on the phone, they made it fairly clear that they were having problems getting the product from the suppliers.

Does anyone know where you can get the material that they make the covers from? Is it anything special? UV killer added to it? If I can find some, I may stop at my local cleaners/sew shop and see if they will make me three of them. It may cost a bit more, but I'll bet the turnaround will be better than 5 months........

I think Travis Mueller is the Territory Manager for Cabelas. You could try to PM him and he may be able to give you an idea when Cabelas is expected to receive their 06 shipments.

Try sending Eric L a PM. He can probably help you on that. I can't give you dates on items, but typically its the end of summer when the stores want stuff. Sorry I can't be more help.
