Those Hardcores mixed in pretty well.. better than I would have thought..... Looks like a great hunt! Cheers!

There are just 2 hardcores in the spread I have 12 of them and will put them all out in the morning I think they will mix well but I just do not think they will be as durable or visible with the new resters and sleepers coming out I think my Hardcores might be for sale??? But to be able to proclaim one decoy is better than the other you have to have tried both!

WOW!!! 30 mallards in an hour...that is nuts! I love it!! The spread looks great. Please keep taking the pictures and sharing your hunts with us...it helps me through this difficult time (no waterfowl season open here).

Paul.....did you paint the heads black on some of those FB drakes, or is it just the lighting???....in a weird way....they look kind of cool.

What are you doing with all those harvested ducks?? That is going to add up fast!! Aren't mallards a non-native species over there?
Paul "from NZ" Stenning
05-07-2006, 09:20 PM
Yes I have painted most the drake heads matt black, do itwith all my dekes makes them way more visible and natural from a distance.
