The Worlds Duck contest in on Thanksgiving weekend every year. I've not heard of a big "Waterfowl Weekend" though. They usually have a Fall Festival every year, where they have the big tent sale, like during the worlds weekend, and there are usually some World qualifier contests going on too.

Zach,
Our Fall Festival will be held on Sept 29- Oct 1. We will have our tent sale and lots of other activities going on as well. We also will have the regional calling contest during that weekend. During the Thanksgiving Weekend we have Wings on the Prairie Festival with the World calling contest here in Stuttgart. We also have a big tent sale that weekend. As it gets closer our website will have more information. If you come please look me up I would love to meet you. Just ask any of the employees for me.
Thanks
Cheryl

Cheryl,
Thanks a million for the informative reply! My brothers, friends and I are excited to take a trip to MWP. I have been a huge fan of macks since i got my first catalog in the mail and i saw the pictures of your huge events! Its funny and I always think about this.... A lot of times i try to explain to people that there are thousands of hunters as crazy about hunting as i am most people don't get it or don't believe me. Then I always show people the pictures of the events on your catalogs....I am excited to take part in my first event!

Zach,

Just my .02 but Wings on the Prairie would be my first choice for sure! I am lucky enough to live an hour away from Stuttgart and my timber is about 10 miles from there....You have to hit duck gumbo. It is a great social event with thousands of hunters from across the country. That place gets wild as the day goes on and usually carries into the night at The Refuge.

The Refuge may or may not be up your ally but you will be able to find something for sure. Obviously you will spend much of your time and money at macks....I would also swing by RNT which is next door.

That particular weekend is not great for guests but shoot me a pm before you come and IF I have room you are welcome in my blind.
Maybe we can smoke a few green heads Stuttgart style......in the timber.
