Cheryl at Macks can hook you up. They had this topic going some time ago.
Well, my motion kits came from Macks Prarie Wings (by the way, thanks Cheryl for letting us know they were available),

Sorry you did not get the correct information when you called. Here is the correct information AVE7119 24PK is $49.99, the AVE7119 6PK is $16.99. I have 7 of the 6PK on hand now. The 24PK are not due in until 7-20-06. If you want to call our 800-229-0296 you can order those. If I can be of any assistance email me at cheryl@mackspw.com.

I got my retro kits a couple of weeks ago and have already installed them on my '04 GHGs. They didn't look quite right when I put them in the front yard with my GHG Lessers and I decided it was because they didn't have any legs. I bought some rubber gas line hose and used nylon line to add the legs. In case you're interested in adding legs, I just drilled a hole where the leg of the original base was, tied a knot in the nylon rope so it wouldn't pull through, cut 3 1/4 inch pieces of hose, slipped the nylon rope (thin rope), through the hose and tied a couple of knots to keep it in place. The rubber hose hangs down nicely and if it isn't too tight, it also swings in the wind and makes it look like the decoy is walking as it waddles around on the motion stake. My nylon rope was white, so I dipped the white end in Rustoleum flat black and put them on the stakes to dry. They looked great and actually looked more like they were walking than my Lessers as they have solid legs. It only takes about 5 minutes per decoy, but it really adds the final touch to the retro motion bases.

Great idea Quickshot! If possible, maybe you could post a picture or two for everybody to look at.

These kits sound like the ticket. I think I'm gonna get a 24 pack atleast to convert all our hunter series actives and feeders to motion cones, the nice thing is though that if there is too much wind where they get to whipping a lot you can always put their foot bases back on them and stake them down or something. We use black tent stakes if it gets too windy to keep the FB upright.

I've got the pictures on the computer, but being as inept as I am with the computer, could someone give me step by step directions on how to post them? Thanks,
Frank

We are trying to figure out how to be able to ship the ring bases more economically. Adding the ring base to the kit would more than double the cost of MotionKit. We wanted the retail to be affordable to all. Ring bases will probably be sold separately via Customer Service.

I know that all of the Sportsman's Warehouse locations are going to be carrying the RealMotion Kits. They should be in stock sometime around the beginning of August. We used these kits on many of our decoys last year and we were very pleased. It is a five minute fix for each bird and the results speak for themselves. I have seen these decoys dance in winds of under 5 MPH. The Real Motion Kits are great for the hunter who has the older style decoys and wants to add a little motion to his rig.
Good Hunting!
