Sounds weird huh???. Actually....going back to my home province, NewBrunswick Canada. We are leaving about midnightish on the 27th of this month.
3200 mile round trip...or 56 hrs. We'll be gone for approximately 11 days. I haven't seen my son or my other family in over three years.
We had planned to go back this past Feb. but at my last job...things had changed big time....and I wouldn't have been able to get the time off.
Now that I'm my own boss....woohooo I can.
This is a surprise trip...as we've told everyone that we are arriving in Nov.
Are they going to be shocked or what??....LOL
Both my mom and dad, have been having health problems, and I'm not really sure how much longer they'll be with us.
It's also going to be nice to check out my old hunting grounds and see how many young are still on the go.
I'm going to have to see...if some of the local hunting shops carry any GHG or Avery gear...if not...I'll have to insist that they do.
I'm sure people will be there in flocks...no pun intended...lmao...to purchase them products.
Right now, I'm not sure if I'm more pumped up about this coming seaon...or this trip.
Either way....I can't wait for either.
I'll have to see if I can take a hostage computer and keep in touch.
Have a great 4th guys.
Take Care,
Rob.

There is nothing like going home- no matter where you are from. Have an enjoyable and safe trip. Sounds like you will be driving through some great hunting country. Enjoy!

Have a good time back home among the Bigfoots (the monster not the decoys) and the polar bears.

Hey Travis...my son just turned 16 the end of May......he is taller and much larger boned. Both his grandfathers had heavy frames...and I'll not be wanting to tackle him anytime soon. He's a great kid with great grades...so I'm very happy and proud of him. He was lifting weights and working out at the school gym...cuz he tells me he wants to play ruby next year. He'll be a force to reckon with I'm sure.
GooseKiller....you are probably 99.9% right...but a guy can lend a hand, and stear some of these owners in the right direction.....LOL
Thanks for all your well wishes folks...
Rob.
