I went to the annual Cabelas tent sale down in Owatanna yesterday and came home with some of the butt-up ducks for 5 bucks!!! The things are sweet! I tried for the goose deeks right away, but all of the fullbodys were takin from me right before i could grab them. I had a box of the sentry floaters, but somebody stole them out of the box:( Now all you guys have to do is make a goose butt-up and i will be set!!

That was a great buy. Those tent sales are well worth a trip to the stores...

With the success of the duck Butt-Up's, I think a goose Butt-Up would be another good item to add. I really believe that these decoys add to the overall realism factor that we are all trying to create.

I think it would be neat to get some photos of some real geese feeding. Do any of you have any pictures of butt up geese?

I could have sworn I had some images of geese dipping but I can't put my fingers on them. I do have a few of the GHG Mallard Butts though...

I was rooting through my photo files for an unrelated project and I came accross the goose butt photos I knew I had:

Nice pics Rob... Goes to show that those "Butt-Up" decoys are deadly on a jerk string on those still days when the there is no wind.

With the size and shape of the mallard 'BUTTS'....it takes a very light wind to make them 'bobble'!!
Rob, Love that hen trio!!!!

I just bought some this year and they are awsome and with the larger size they will show up well in our spread this year. I think we are going to puchase a couple more pair. Soon as a goose butt up comes out put me on the list for two pair.
