Minnesota Northstar Regional Duck Calling Contest

The Minnesota Northstar Regional Calling Contest is one of the largest Duck and Goose Calling Contests in the Midwest. The contest hosts callers from all around the country. Callers came from as far east as New York, West as Utah, and as far South as Mississippi with just about every state in between. The World Duck Calling Contest qualifier had 27 callers this year and the man who came out on top was Craig Guillaume from Council Bluffs, Iowa. In a close tie for second place were Avery Pro Staffer Dan Oberfoell from Dubuque, Iowa and Buddy Mann from Whiteman AFB, MO. But in the end Buddy edged out Dan for second place, and Avery Pro-Staffer Dan Oberfoell finished in the third place spot. What made this contest great was that in the end Dan, Buddy and Craig were all within one point, but as in all great contests with great callers and tight competition one caller had to stand out on top and this time it was Craig Guillaume. These guys have been going back and forth during the last three calling contests and will surely get another chance at each other in Stuttgart, Arkansas in November during the World Duck Calling contest where it all matters in the end.
