In early November of 2005, new Avery Pro-Staffer and professional videographer, Jake Latendresse, arrived in eastern Illinois for a day to remember. Filming for The Wild Outdoors television show, Jake and his filming partner, Clifford Neames, climbed into their tree stands well before sunrise. As the sun began to rise, a hot doe walked in and set the stage for an unbelievable series of events...a double kill on film. That's right. Two trophy whitetails in ten minutes out of the same stand...on film!! Jake recalls, "We got really lucky. A total of 5 bucks were nose down on this hot doe's trail. She came in and left a scent trail that would prove to be the demise of two mature whitetail bucks and the good fortune of two really happy hunters. I can't believe we pulled it off!"
