The snow goose hunting in the Running Traffic video, Was awsome, Was it in Missouri?

Is that one of the states where there is Very liberal laws on Snows, Just currious,

I am trying to make a trip somewhere to have a spring snow hunt, And like the 24/7 video said other waterfowl you have a good day with a few birds but snows you expect a massacre.

if so any one know a good host for a hunt,

Michael

I believe that footage was in Missouri. The spring seasons liberal rules run through several states that have snow geese pile up.

I am pretty sure it was in Missouri. Tony or Tyson will know for sure.

I just watched the video last night and that footage is amazing! You have an awesome spread Tony, second to none. And in 29 days over 2,000 snows harvested? Gezzz....talk about helping to save the tundra! Good work bud!

I agree, I will sit in the blind all day long with nothing to eat, just in case I catch a flock of migrators!

I think that the Z-Unit crew did a really awesome time show casing the way that Tony and Tyson hunted the snows and they just showed how much dedication they put into hunting snows. The clip when Clay was talking about wanting a massacre and then them dropping every snow coming into the spread was just awesome. It would have to be one of my favorite moments in the movie. Nice job on the movie fellas it was some really good footage :)

It was probably my favorite part of Runnin' Traffic.

The footage was pretty good. Would be nice to have a spread like that. I dont really agree with the massacre comments on the film. All of us hard core snow goose hunters have our days when we dont even break into the teens or worse and those days when the birds are in our laps but thats what makes us nuts and unique is that we go out there and put out 2000 decoys and can only shoot a few and still go back out the next day and do it. Good job on the snow geese guys.

is there a menu on the DVD? I can't seem to find one?

no you just got to push next scene, the snow stuff starts right after the black screen that asks "how old were you when you started filming" or something like that, then it shows Field and Clays younger years footage and then it starts the snows.

I guess I will watch it all the way through...just have gotten into the habit of hitting the hunts and skipping the talk on most dvds.

why do you not agree with the massacre comments? thats what it was! thats what they set out to do, and really isn't there enough politically correct sugar coating going on today? i applaud tony, tyson and clay on the hunting footage but also on the few tips they through in. I really think they should look at making a video next year just on the snows titled "GOT SNOWS?!!"

There were quite a few skeptics saying that there was no possible way that Tony and Tyson were getting large groups of mature snows in the decoys. Well the article in DU and the footage in the new 24-7 video prove all of them wrong. These guys were on their "A" game during those 29 days for sure. They have a lot of talent when it comes to being able to pattern these birds and then set the most realistic spreads known to man. We are very lucky to have both of them on our team.

Good Hunting!

I agree with you Belding 100%.

Weatherby, they didnt say that they massacred them(Although we see that they did). The comment was about expecting to massacre them and you dont have a good hunt unless you do, thats all i disagree with. I agree that they did have days that they massacred them. They did good. I agree good tips as well.

I wish i could have seen that spread for myself. Its a dream spread for any snow goose nut.

It is good to hear that you enjoyed it. I still get goosebumps when watching the footage that we were able to obtain in Missouri. Tony truly has a great area to hunt spring snows!

Thanks for the input,
Tyson
