I was a little unorganised this morning after being late home from hunting geese last night then staying up to watch the All Blacks (worlds best rugby team) beat the Wallabies (Aussies) in a rugby test match.
So I grabbed a Avery 6 slot bag with some GHG OS Black and Mallard duck decoys and headed out to a pond for my final duck hunt this season, When I arrived there was a fair bit of duck sign around the pond so I thought I better wipe the sleep out of my eyes and get ready!
The Mallards just piled in and my only regret is that I was there alone when I should have had a couple more hunters with me. The Mallards just kept landing in the 6 decoys after I had my 15 Mallard limit which took only a few minutes
Limit shot and it is still not even daylight

Thats it for me and brook for this season...what a way to finish!

Paul,
If you eat all the birds you shoot, your gonna start growing wings. You had a good season. We now just need to prepare of the Avery visit next May.
Thanks,

In an echo to Mr. Jepsons earlier statements I have truly appreciated and enjoyed your posts. I will try and reciprocate but knowing how my seasons tend to go it might not be all that entertaining...
Thanks for being the window into a far away world, and showing us what can be done with 6 OS Duck Decoys

Yes any factory magazine capacity is legal, not a big advantage on the ducks but certainly helps on the geese
