Anybody know if they will have a shipment of GHG decoys by Sat. My brother went to their big truck load sale and said there weren't any. I planned on picking up a few but if they don't have them I will prolly go with some of the others that they have for a killer price.

I just got home from working the Rogers show today. They just got their 2nd container in last night and they think the 3rd should be there this week. Rogers has the Hunter and Pro Grade FB, OS shells, OS floaters, LS floaters, FB Mallards and plenty of the Hot Buy Mallards. They did have a few of the Finsihers on site and should have all the new blinds this week.

Sean, It was good talking to you at the both. I guess we should have talked a little more. We were told that all they had were the life size floaters and only in sentry.

It appears that my post was edited for content......
Let me rephrase myself. While talking to someone whom appeared to be a representative for avery, or was trying to make people believe he was. I was informed that they had not gotten their shipment in yet. We asked about floaters and shells. He said they had not received the OS floater os sleeper shells in yet. We mentioned that was a downer as we made the 1 1/2 trip and were hoping to pick them up. He said we could always have them shipped.
So now, after driving home we find out the same day that they had the decoys we were there to buy (minus the shells). That is discouraging. And then to post up my experience in a non bashing way and have it edited.... that is BS. I am not being resentful, hateful, or spiteful. Just making a comment that it is discouraging to make a 3 hour round trip for something to be told it's not there when it is.
Honest mistake. admit there was a mistake made, don't edit the thread to hide it.
Customer service builds companies. I have had nothing but great experiences with Avery, And I wouldn't say this was a bad experience. A miscommunication happens. But editing the post..... come on.

H20,
I don't think you were being mis-lead. I did not find out about the 2nd container until the end of the day on Sat. The 2nd container had arrived late on Friday night and they had not been able to unload it just yet. From talking with Shannon, she said that the 2nd container should be unloaded early this week.
As far as what they had in stock on Sat, they did have the LS Floaters in sentry, OS shells non sleeper, OS Floaters in sentry, Pro Grade and Hunter FB. Hope this helps and it was great talking with you as well.

Thanks Sean! That was an answer I was looing for and exactly what I figured had happened.
Didn't take someone editing my original post to say that.

I feel for them, Steve has been waiting, waiting, waiting on the Avery shipments. He assured me it will show eventually.

I should have also mentioned that the other two guys there were Avery Pro-Staff members Tom Cannon and Curt McNabb. Both of them are great duck and goose hunters and well respected among their peers. I am hoping to share a few hunts with both of these guys this year and maybe even learn a thing or two from them.

Sean,
It was nice talking to you for a little bit. Also had a long talk with one of the other guys.....kind of a tall guy. My cousin didn't end up getting the Finisher because he would've been way over his spending limit. I ended up with a couple of new Buck Gardner calls(engraved by Buck), a new pair of boots, and 3 cases of shells.

Roger's has received one container as of right now. Their second container is in L.A. right now and is due to leave very soon. They may even have this one by the end of the week. It includes a lot of ducks, geese, blinds, accessories, and harvester packs.

Fellas hey I will be at Roger's this Saturday (12th). If they have it I will sell it to ya. I specifically asked Steve what they had in stock prior to opening on this past Sat. I even wrote it down but if I gave someone the wrong info I am sorry. Hopefully we'll have more blinds including Power Hunters and Ground Force styles there this week as well as the full line of decoys. If I can help you holler at me. If anything needs answered I will personally ask Steve (Rogers) as I always do. Hey we are there to help you guys out and we sure don't want anyone going home mad. See you there!

Gosh, I spoke to a lot of guys about a lot of stuff so that doesn't ring a bell. Sorry... I had a GHG T-shirt on. I was the Dang good looking guy with lots of gals around me all the time. Just kidding about that. Stop by this Sat we should have some more product on hand. Bring some cool weather too!

That was me that you were talking to outside about the Finisher. I was working the booth for ZINK.
