How many of you guys use something other than a platsic crate to haul your retrievers? With a summer like this it's hard to live without fans, and water on the truck?

It looks like I might have to look into Mountain Top. I would love one. I am thinking a 2 hole with storage.

I've seen some nice trailers before, however, that one easily takes the cake.

Hey Justin,
If you get a chance give us (the members of the Avery Message Board) a little info and back round on the SRS. Its growth in popularity over the last few years is incredible.
What’s required to even enter an event? How many dogs per event? Is there a waiting list or how early does someone have to apply?
Also, for any of the guys and girls on this message board who are playing any of the various games with their pooch, where will the SRS events be held for the up coming season? Last, how would they qualify for the Crown Championships?
You never know there might be a couple sleepers in this audience that have a shot at taking that trailer home!

That is a bad rig!! I am pretty sure my wife would leave me If I pulled up to the house with that thing. I have a tendency to fill the holes I have available.

Justin, I'm really looking forward to seeing the SRS dogs in action at the Oregon Waterfowl Festival this year. See you in a few days.

Joe,
I agree with you totally. Every dog has his day....as you know. SRS is in it's 6th season. We started with 20 dogs an event...now there are a 100 dogs an event max.
It's been sometime since we have not had an event full, 4 years to be exact. This years Orgeon event will not be full.....60 dogs. That's OK....a new area always see some concerns. This is our first trip to the west coast, but I'm certain we'll be back.
To compete your dog must be HRCH, MHR, MH, or QAA or above. The entry fee is $225.00 per event and it's first come first serve. There are 5 qualifying events this year.
Most events have between 25-100 on a waiting list. You can get complete info. at www.superretrieverseries.com. The next event is just outside of Reel Foot Lake , TN...November 1st-5th....06.
Good Luck, and hope to see you there.

It is really hot about now and fans are a must...unless you have A/C...
Justin,
That is an awesome deal and someone is going to go home with one heck of a set-up. Some companies go the extra mile get their products out there and this is a great example of a company supporting the folks that support them. Great job!

If you are in the market for a nice box, definately give Mountaintop a look. If you can visualize what you want in your head, they can fabricate it. They truly are a "Custom" manufacturer. From simple single holes all the way up to the rig in the link.
Great guys too!!! :)
