I recently purchased a Finisher, and bought killer weed for it.I heard that a good way to attach it on is to use clothespins, but I want to know how to apply it-should you mix a few colors for each strand, or make each strand one color and overlap them, etc.. I'm primarily hunting wheat stubble. Thanks

I recently did my own Finisher on Monday. The way I did it was basically grab a few strands of each color and then tie it to the loops using a cinch knot. By mixing the color you should get a more natural look.

I have made bundles with plastic wire tyes, then use strong clothes pins to attach to the straps. The use of the clothes pins allows for easy on/off for changing when you might hunt a differant location.

I have always tied to the straps on the blinds, but this year i am going to try a new way that i saw on one of my blinds, they put the grass thrue a piece of pipe wrap and you just stuff those in the strap holes, should make it pretty easy to add and remove for differant fields, dont know how this will work but it is worth a try.

I like to layer my KillerWeed light colors to dark. By layering the KillerWeed light to dark, you enhance the the ability of the KillerWeed to add depth to your camo job by creating shadows.I simply attach the KillerWeed with cinch loops. The cinch loops allow you to change your KillerWeed colors if you change fields, but they are snug enough to stay in place season after season. The only time I change KillerWeed is when I hunt a turf farm. Then I use WinterWheat KillerWeed.

Remember there are several ways of attaching KillerWeed to your blind. Try a few methods and see which method works best for you. The goal is to make your blind disappear in the field you are hunting. I hope this helps.

Cable ties also work very well, Just remember dont make it look pretty, It is a camo job and nature is not perfect,

There is a thread on the main forum with a bunch of ways to attach killerweed. I posted up some PICS as well of a very easy and effective way. I will try to post a link, or just do a search!
