As a different option try using a rag or just smear it on with your hands ...make sure you don't thin out the "mud" by using too much water when added to the dirt.
Mix ingredients...

Stir...

Apply...

...thoroughly

Set aside to dry...

When dry, sweep excess dry mud from blind (*Optional...I personally prefer to leave any excess dry mud on my blinds...it will eventually come off the material as the blind is used but in the meantime I figure it will enchance my concealment in a field.)

Attach Killerweed to CamoStraps..

I found that is the best way to mud my blinds also. The soupier the mud the better.
Great pics.
I still remud mine each year at the begining of the season. I also leave all the access mud on mine too.
We hunt some gravel bars here & along some of the lowerd lakes. A good mudded up blind blinds right in.

I've walked all over my collapsed blinds in a wet/muddy field. To do this you need to use care not to damage the aluminum framing. You can make a muddy mess of your blind in short order.

I make a soupy mixture in 5 gal bucket and put it on with an old broom
So by the looks of the picture it doesn't really matter what type of camo you have because none of it is showwing. Is that how it should be? I never have done much for mudding but maybe I should start. I usually just cover the heck out of the blind with rafia grass and vegetation from the field.
