Got a 4 pack of GHG floaters this weekend. 3 out of the 4 heads went on great, but the 4th one is a bugger. Any ideas on how to get it on secure? It just won't go down flush. If you have any suggestions or could point me to a thread where this has been discussed before I would appreciate it.

Thanks

W.

Can you not get it on all the way?? Post up a pic if you can. If not take a little soap and water, and try to ease it down on to the base. I know in a pack of FB's i had one that was a little tighter, and the soapy water worked great. i was happier with it being a little too tight than too loose!

Try that and let us know. THanks for buying GHG!

What is the difference beween the new and the old? Was there a year that they changed. Some of mine do not fit all the way down i am not really impressed with way my heads go on mine!

Okay, I had a similar problem with my heads, but instead of calling CS and asking for replacements I fixed them myself and am happy with the job I did. The company, I am sure would probably not recommend this, but on my O/S floaters with the old head connection I actually cut around the connection on the base of the neck and used sportsman's GOOP to glue them on in a good position, then I painted over the glue and flocked the connection area over the painted glue. I think it looks great, and I don't mind that I can't remove the heads because I have no reason to anyway. The new head connections are a thing of beauty however. If you don't want to do what I did then I'm sure CS will take good care of you. Pretend you didn't see that big lazy lab laying on the couch in the background!

Apparently the picture deal is over my head. Anyways I called customer service and they said to just bend the lip on the head out about a quarter inch and avoid the seam area, then it would screw on. It worked awesome. I was leary of bending the lip thinking it may break but it worked great.

Thanks
