I was wondering when you need a passport to get into canada. I thought it was next year but the laws are misdirecting and confusing. If anyone could help me out let me know. Thanks

Call Canada Border Services, go to their website www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca

A passport is the best way to get into Canada..however if you do not have one, a certified copy of your birth certificate and a photo ID will do. Drivers license is the usual ID used!

Hope this helps!

If you can the easiest thing to get is a passport. It makes life alot easier at airports, border crossings, and just for plain identification. If you can and have the time, get one. It will be very useful over the years, and you will look bad and say that it was worth it.
