Best way I have found to do it is to clean the surface real well before you start. I have always use various brands of flocking and black rustoleum paint for adhesion. We have a kit out this year (AVE7129) in both black and tan for heads and fullbodies. It puts everything together and looks to be anohter great product for use by the sportsman. Any help needed let me know.

I just flocked a whole bunch of decoys, and although I havent tried the Avery Flocking Kit yet, I had really good succes with the Black Widow Flocking.

if you have Dremel tool, use it with a small wire brush, and at a LOW speed, LIGHTLY scuff the surface before you paint it. And flat black Rustoleum makes a great adhesive. get a plastic tub from Walmart and use it to catch the excess flocking and make sure you let it dry several days

I checked around and I found the AVE7129 kit at Mack's PW. I called and they are out of stock until sometime in Oct.

Scott at FowlFlocker will get you set up rather quickly.
