I just ordered a Finisher Snow Cover from Cabela's. Got one on sale and I told my buddies that they need to get a Snow Cover for their Finishers as well. They don't think that they need a Snow Cover and I can't seem to convience them otherwise.
What do you Pro Staffers think? Maybe these guys will listen to a Pro's advice rather than an old fart like me. Help me out here would ya?
Thanks,
Murph.

I have one and when the situation warrants it (6"-8" or more of accumulated snow is my personal benchmark) I use it. It's like the old adage about having the right tool for the job...
If there is only a small amount of snow I prefer to use Avery's RealSnow to hide my blind.

No hunter going with us to Canada can go without an Avery snow cover for their layout blind. Which of course are all Avery's...well someone might have a GHG one this year! For local hunts if there is snow on the ground there is a cover on your blind. That or stay home. Freddies snow spray works great for light snow when dirt is still coming through and for snowing up vegetation added to the blinds. RNT's Power Trip shows excellent examples of how this can be done correctly. The spray is no substitution for the covers.

Don- Another vote yes. One would only need to imagine 3 or 4 perfectly hidden blinds with snowcovers and the one oddball that can be seen for miles without to know just how important they can be. They are painless to apply, and well worth every penny.

Well...Thanks to your replys, I convienced 3 of my 4 hunting buddies to get Snow Covers for their Finishers. It's the un-committed guy that worries me.
Since I have 2 Finishers I ordered 2 Snow Covers...just in case!
Thanks Again Guys!

The snow covers are great. I personally use the RealSnow Spray more than anything. It is awesome!

Snow camo in general is the most deadly on the market IMHO. Anytime we can use them we do. The geese never know what hit them. We mix in some vegetation and the blinds just dissapear!

Don,
See the thread titled "power hunter ???" located in Avery Product & Questions. It gives you a great example of the snow cover in operation.
