Bottoms has water!!

I just moved out west a year ago but the talk around this area has been that the Chyenne Bottoms in Central Kansa have been dry for 6-7 years. The people say they haven't seen water like this in a long time. We finnaly got some good rain a linked up togther for about a week and a half and it set in. My boddies who a just leaving the area for another college tell me that I have no idea how good the waterfowl hunting is going to be this year and how they are going to miss it. Well it looks like they will have to read my stories and look at pictures this fall that will make them want to come home even more. I took a couple pics. while out and about the other day.

Can you say NEO-TUB? I know if I were down there I would be hunting with my Finisher and a neo-tub. The birds would have no idea what was going on until it was way too late!

Sorry to disappoint you guys but I would suggest not coming to Kansas and hunt at Cheyenne Bottoms. No ducks, it just looks like there are ducks there but no ducks.:)
