With falling temperatures this week, our local DU chapter decided today would be a good day to have a work party. We teamed up with our state wildlife managment agency (TWRA) and actually got a lot done this morning. We cleared low brush and small trees in some flooded timber (not yet flooded) to allow the ducks plenty of area to land. Some of this was on refuge land and some was public. There are various crops planted in the bottom timber holes.
Here is a picture of my party before we headed out.

Guys I would encourage you that if you are not a member to join DU or Delta Waterfowl and do what you can to the ducks and the future of this great sport.
I hope everyone has a great year. Only 63 more days until we are cutting some green. :)
