I recently got a Avery TUFF dog parka, and it fits my dog Cash in the chest but is tight on his flank too where when he runs he will stop half way and do flip and stop because he thinks he's being corrected. His deminsions are 19" neck and 30" chest. He isn't a big dog but ow do you guys think it's supposed to fit(it's a XL) and, if you don't think it fits right do you think I should go a size up?

Thanks in advance
Hunter

According to the sizes you stated, you have selected the correct parka. The cool thing about these parkas are that they are double bar-tabbed. This allows you to trim away certain areas. We realize that all dogs are not the same length and this could be your problem.

I would try a 2XL. It will still be snug in the chest and give more room in the flank. See which two work better.

On the belly side you can trim away about an inch as along as you do not cut pass the bottom seam bar tack. This may free up some room for him as well.
