Nice job on the trailer! I'm working on some designs to build as well. The 6x12 we have is getting a little small and I need a new project.
I'd love to see more pics!

Great job Jase. Rob told me that you built a 22' dead rise over the summer. Is there anything you won't tackle? Post up some pictures of the boat when you get a chance.

Thanks for the compliments Guys. I started this trailer last summer. Had the trailer "ready to pull" in about 4 weeks. Used it last season. Got back on it 3 weeks ago. Install lights, paint, odds/in's. Working after hours after work and a couple Saturdays. As for what I have into it. I would have to say about $1700.00. The specs. of the trailer are as follows: Length,16 feet. Height, 80 inches. Width approx. 6 feet. The sides are alluminum. Been primed with a self-etch primer then shot with Dupont' Imron. 5 -6 coats. Tandem axles. I did some experimental capacity tests. I can fit 20 dozen (Full-Body Goose Decoys) in her. L.E.D. lights. Self containted power source for 50w halogen lights, that are both sides of box. Twin 1190 cca batteries. Ramp door. As for the inside, "plain jane". No real plans to spruce it up. Just hang blinds from walls and stack decoys.
Thanks Guys.

Quite the handyman! Good work with your new trailer. I know for a fact that it takes a lot of talent to fabricate something like that from scratch. What are the dimensions of it? Show us how you organize the inside of it? Do you use shelves or a hanging system? How many decoys will you carry in it?
Good Hunting!
