i hunt with a finisher blind and i really love it, but a couple people i hunt with just got powerhunters and they seem to be much more low profile then my finisher and seem to hide more because of being lower, i was thinking about getting one but im not really sure??? whats everyones thoughts on comfort durability and all around performance of the powerhunter?

Have both, and have never "taken" to the Finishers we use, and have absolutely loved the PH's we deploy. Simple, easy, light, low pro, you name it.

With that said, I just recieved my Ground Forces the other day and I'm guessing it will take the place of the PH for me. Everything I said about the PH and more, plus I'm guessing the wind at my back won't get into my neck as easy, which was the only downfall to the PH that I could find.

I actually think the Ground Force is easier to jsut throw down and get in. I would check it out before I bought one.

I will never hunt out of anything other than a Powerhunter. They are the lowest profile blind out there and the visibility that they offer is great. I removed the middle bar on the cop pit to lower it another 3 or 4 inches and this really helps. I would also recommend KillerWeed for these blinds. I put a package of golden harvest on each of our powerhunters and they disappear. If you can, you should definitely get yourself a powerhunter.

Good Luck

I love my finisher but I recently got a Power Hunter also. Its a great blind. Its very easy to set up, it takes maybe 30 seconds tops. With its low profile, its great in those low cut fields. I let my brother use my Power Hunter on Saturday and a friend of mine used it today and they where both sleeping multiple time throughout the morning, so its pretty comfortable. I havent had the oppurtunity to hunt in it yet but I sat in it for a bit and its very comfortable, not quite like the Finisher but its nice. I also think its a great blind when hunting alone due to its lightweight design.

I'm betting that the answers you get on this question are about 50/50 for the Finisher and PowerHunter. I have both and love both and wouldn't want to be without either. There are some instances when I would rather have the Finisher and some I want the PowerHunter. I think that you just have to hunt out of both and make your own decision...my guess is that you will probably end up with both!

I've got both and you can't go wrong with either. I shoot out of my finisher as much as possible just because I like to be able to have my gun in the blind with me, you can't do that with the powerhunter. Either way you have a blind you can consistently kill birds out of.

The Power Hunter is my blind of choice...and for one big reason: visibility.

We utilize both blinds. In the photo below, you can clearly see the profiles of both the Finisher and PowerHunter.

Travis,
I have been using my Power Hunter for the last 2 years and I have not had one bit of trouble with it. My suggestion is on your next hunt switch with one of your freinds that have a Power Hunter and see what you think. Your gona love it.

The two have so many advantages and qualities for serious hunters. Each blind has its own application. You need something low profile, packable and has 360 degrees of visibility while keeping you hid? Power Hunter!!!!

You need something warm, dry, keep gear and gun out of the rain and snow, great visibility? Finisher!!

That's why I have Two of each!!!! :)
