I've been looking at everyones ground forces, and it seems that everyone puts a base layer of killer weed on thier blind. I guess when they get to the location they add some natural vegatation. Is this what everyone does?

That's about right WD. I carry garbage bags full of various colors of killerweed in my trailer, and add a base layer and fill in with the natural vegetation and then hit open spots with more killerweed when I get to the field.

Yup, I have been doing that this year as well. I take a bag of killer weed in the trailer, match the surroundings, and than mix to taste. It works great and really saves me the time of pulling enough weeds to cover the blind. (Heck my wife can't even get me to do that at home, if she only knew what we do in the field for concealment--LOL)

I do the same. I put Killer Weed All Terrain on my blind except for the green (winter wheat). I attach the green (winter wheat) to close pins with wire ties. I carry this seperate in the field and when I need to add some green to the blind, I just clip it on. Throw a little natural vegetation by the blind and your set.

That is exactlly the ticket, remember not to put to much killer weed on only 7 strands or so. You will be amazed at how great that covers !

I'll second that with adding the killerweed lightly
Be sure to match the field you're hunting. You can do it while scouting.
Like anything else, the more effort the better results.
Lets know how you are doing out there
