Here is the new poll. I just want a feel for what everybody thinks is the most versatile camo. :D

Natgear, hands down. I have seen it in action in the woods and in the field and it really blends perfect with all terrains. Really opened my eyes to what has shelf appeal and what actually works.

Where I hunt i would have to say Max-4, but where you guys hunt you will probably have a different awnser because the terrain and cover is different around the world.

I chose Mossy Oak Shadow Grass again, though that new Mossy Oak “Duck Blind” looks really appealing to my eye. Does anyone know when the Duck Blind camouflage will begin to be used on waterfowler’s gear.

I am with David. It is natgear without a doubt. Most people that dont like natgear say that because it doesnt look good on their truck seats or kids window curtains. We are talking camo, not interior design. It is without a doubt in my mind the best camo there is. It blends everywhere--even in grassy situations. Try it...tell me different. Just hoping to see avery put out more stuff in natgear next season. Already either received or waiting on the stuff available this year.

My vote is for Max-4.

used to be a big fan of the old shadow grass but now with the new stuff that isnt as good the old is real hard to find. So now for our terrain which is usually cattails and such on the river its Max-4 for me. But i do have some old shadow grass i still love in the fields or even in timber.

I love natural gear, of course in a laydown blind you can get away with most anything from your chest down.

Nat Gear is so versatile. It blends in the timber, mud, sage, almost every where. Other patterns get dark or blotchy at a distance or in the 'wrong' environment.. My .02..

When hunting wheat and barley stubble, i'll go for the farmland gold pattern. Winter wheat determines farmland green.

I look forward to receiving some natgear. We don't have this in Denmark, so i'm pretty curious about htis pattern.

I must say, that the Field Khaki for the blinds has been a positive experience. It's very easy to blend in

Thanks guys. Say, where can you get the Nat. Gear pattern in clothing? Do you have to buy it from them, or do other companies use it in their clothing too??

Thanks, Matt

Another vote for old shadow grass, but the new isn't too bad either.

I think a lot has to do with the area you hunt. I hunt mostly flooded timber and I choose a Break Up pattern. It fits well with my surroundings. Natgear is sort of a "muted" camo. Should blend really well in a lot of different hunting situations. Looking forward to trying it out this season.

Looks like Nat Gear and Old Shadowgrass are the favorites. I would have to agree with that as they are definatey my favorite 2 patterns.

Another vote for Nat Gear or Shadowgrass depending on the terrain.

I think any pattern is fine if you sit still, but up in these parts, whether sitting in cattails or a chisel plowed cornfield, I'll take Advantage Wetlands any day.

Natural Gear for me. Followed closely by original shadowgrass.

I personally think that Max-4 is a camo pattern that attracts the eye in stores, but is rarely adequate for field scenarios. OSG is the pattern for me. I will definately be trying the new Nat gear also!

A new guy here.

I've been wearing all Natural Gear the past two years for everything from ducks, geese, deer, turkeys, and even bear hunting. IMO, no other pattern is more versatile and fits nearly every situation better.

I've sold almost every outer layer garment that I own that wasn't Natural Gear.

The only problem with Natural Gear is that it is limited in where you can buy it and on what kind of garments you can buy it on. I bought one of almost every garment Drake had in Natural Gear when I found out they would no longer offer it.

I would have to agree with the majority, Nat Gear is great and the same goes with old shadow grass they both work great in most hunting situations!

I like and still use my Max-4 almost daily. But on the river and heavy brush its worked really well. Hoping to give Nat Gear a shot. Has anyone used the SCII yet? Very curious for any input on it. Looking for something more suited for my treestand bow hunting.

I love my osg, but the nat gear seems to really dissapear in all types of terrain. Especially in more open landscapes where some other patterns seem to struggle.

Absolutely natgear imo.. Also really liked the old SG...

Natural Gear.... especially if most of your waterfowling is done from a layout boat like mine is.
