Trav-

What i do is pick up some cheap nylon "tuxedo" socks and put them over the heads. Think you can get a 5 pair pack for about $5 at walmart, target, etc. Just make sure they are the thin socks. They seem to work the best.

I just put mine in a smaller separate mesh bag so they can dry out if wet. I try not to "throw them around" and I realize that it's not the best way to protect the heads, but 2 seasons with them and they still look fantastic. I'm really impressed with the durability of the flocking.

I was very impressed with the durability of the flocking to.Most people I know bag,or sock theirs. A little care now goes a long way down the road.

I store mine in a pillow sack that hangs inside my trailer so that nothing can crush or rub against them while in transit and during storage.

I would just keep them in a separate bag. The flocking is tough and with just the heads in the bag, the rubbing will be nonexistent. Just make sure to store the heads in a place that they won't be crushed by another bag.

I have stored mine in a Greenhead Gear Mesh Decoy Bag (the same style bag that I store my O/S GHG Shells in) the last 3 seasons and they still look great!

I puty all the heads back in the bag with the shells. Works out fine for me, they still look great and they definitely aren't babied!

I actually use the pillow case trick as well. And then toss the pillow case into a mesh bag with some other gear - has worked well for me the past two seasons - no unreasonable wear and tear.
