Now that I have your attention...

I am doing a Grade 12 Biology project investigating Canada Goose mass throughout the migration. My teacher is a bit of a stickler and he wants sample sizes that I just wont be able to collect myself. Knowing that many of you have some biological interest and that all of you kill a whole of geese I was wondering if I could get some people to record some measurements from some of the birds they harvest this fall. If I could get the measurements from a good number of geese from each person throughout the season, I will be able to hopefully have accurate findings. The measurements will take under a minute to complete for each goose so it shouldn't be too much of a burden.

Please post up if you will help or if you have any ideas...

It might be never until I get a canada. Don't get hardly any where I am at. We get a few snows and ross, but if I do ever shoot the one you're looking for, I'll get the measurments and send them to you.

I think I might be able to get you a measurement in a couple of weeks. They might be cacklers\lessers, so I don't know if they would work. :D I should definately by the beginning of November be able to get you some regular measurements. When is your study due??

OK, as of right now I would really appreciate it if people would record, the mass of each harvested Canada Goose, the location where it was harvested, and the date or harvest. I have some tables drawn up and if people want some to make things a little easier I will PM or email you a couple.
