I am finally getting around to post some pic's of the opener here in iowa on sep 24. It was a great sunday morning (couldn't go saturday because my son had a football game) What made it really special was my son and I were the only ones at our place and we got to enjoy some good shooting (5 teal and 3 spoonies) and just a great morning with temps in the 50's. i hope everyone likes the pic's. if you notice there is alot of new grasses coming up around the pond. We just spent enough to build a small house on this baby and they finished it late. but none the less the brome is coming up around the dike and the winter wheat is really starting :) anyway, enjoy

mainly just lots and lots of teal. north of dasota bend, 10 guys shot 10 pintails on the opener. i have never seen pintails this time of year...they shot a banded one and they are waiting to see where it was from.

Congrats on the teal and spoons. To insert images click the little yellow icon with the mountains and paste the url of the pic into the field.

To get the PICS to show up in the post, copy and paste the hotlink for forums (1) option, found on the bottom half of the image shack screen. That is what I do and it works well.

Nice PICS by the way and congrats on a great hunt!
