What is the best way to clean your FFD Elite Canada's? I just received some and want to make sure I keep them in good condition. Dirt and such should be easy to get off, but what about goose blood on the body and head? Is there any way to get that off without damaging the flocking or paint?

As far as removing dirt, I use a damp cloth to wipe them down. For heavier mud and dirt, I'll use a toothbrush and lightly brush away the dirt and then wipe it down with a damp cloth. I have never had to remove any blood from my decoys but Im sure someone on the boards can answer your question.

Hydrogen peroxide can be used to remove blood from flocking. Soak the affected area to loosen blood from the flocking and wash the blood off with a garden hose. DO NOT SCRUB THE AREA WITH A BRUSH! That should take care of it... If you have any other questions please feel free to give us a shout. Thank you for choosing Avery/Greenhead Gear. I hope this season is the best yet!

I typically try to reomve the blood ASAP along with any heavy mud just by wiping it off. If I don't get it off right away, I may have to try the peroxide out. Sounds like it would work well.
