I bought one of those game hog straps earlier this year and have used it twice to carry out some geese. I put our bag from yesterday on it and the darn thing broke. The metal piece that holds the birds actually broke apart. Had to carry out bird becasue of it. Any one else with the same issue.

Nick,

Sorry to hear of your recent misfortune with the GameHog Strap you purchased. I have not experienced any problems with my GameHog Strap. Please call the Avery Customer Service Department at 1-800-333-5119 and see what they might be able to do to assist you.

Nick,

CS will get you taken care of. We will probably want to get back the old one so we can take a look at it.

Thanks,

I have not had any problem with any of mine. I have had as many as 14 ducks on one Game Hog strap and it handled the weight like a champ. Sorry for the inconvenience, but give customer service a call and they should help yo out.

I haven't had any problems either this year and I carried 8 geese on it early season. Must have been a one time thing.

I had 14 Honkers on mine ranging from 6 to 11 lbs one day and I almost threw out my back lifting them off of the ground but the GameHog still held.

Shoot the Lessers - you'll have less to eat. Win/Win situation.

And they are easier to clean.

Talked to customer service and they were helpful. Told me to send it in and they would take care of it. I like shooting those lessers too but I am not going to pass on big honker at 25 yards.
