When you use killerweed on the flip top of a powerhunter do you guys trim around the bottom so there wont be any haning over and getting in your way when you go to shoot? Also do you trim going up the center to keep it out of your vision?
Thanks

Exactly Nick. That killerweed once it tangles doesn't break away easy at all. Make sure you have a open lane.

Yup, that is how we do it.

I used to put the killer weed on the top of my cockpit but stopped because it always used to get tangled with my gun. I only have killerweed on the back of my power hunter and just use whats around me to grass the cockpit. I always make sure nothing hangs down where my gun sits along and diagonaly across my body.

We actually cut the KillerWeed to shorter lengths before we even apply any of it. I find it to be easier to apply and easier to hunt with if we start off with shorter pieces. You can cover a ton of space with this approach as well.
Good Hunting!

I also cut smaller lengths for the top...http://img170.imageshack.us/img170/293/girlsfirstdayofschool030al5.th.jpg (http://img170.imageshack.us/my.php?image=girlsfirstdayofschool030al5.jpg)http://img170.imageshack.us/img170/4872/girlsfirstdayofschool032py7.th.jpg (http://img170.imageshack.us/my.php?image=girlsfirstdayofschool032py7.jpg)

blklab72...I'd use more Winter Wheat KW on the blind to hunt that spot!Seriously though...nice job on brushing the blind!

Nice job on the PH Blklab. Nick when I use killerweed on my PH I try not to get the killerweed hanging over. Grass it up and show us some pics on your hunts!

I like to have a clear view out of the cockpit as well. I put some killerweed bundles up on top of the cockpit frame and then on the buttom of it along with one or two in the middle.
I have found through that my bundles seem to get "stringy" and longer with use so I might end up shorting a few around the cockpit.
