I love your slotted bags, and am gradually switching over to nothing other than these for all of my various decoys. I just started using the original 6-slot full body goose, with the cinch-top closure. This too is a great bag offering maximum protection, and I wouldn't even consider not using them even as they are designed. However, they are cumbersome for one individual to load large Canada decoys into. I have wondered if these large bags - all the other smaller bags don't pose this problem - could benefit from a flexible loop (similar to those used in some of the stand-up bags on the market) aound the perimeter of the top and bottom of the bags to give some body that would help hold the individual slots open. The bag wouldn't have to "stand up", merely stay open. I for one would pay a premium for what I at least perceive would make a difference in ease of an individual loading. I am going to experiment with this myself. Problem is, it's now about number 87 on my list of hunting projects.

I use 1/2 inch plastic banding on a few on my it has worked ok. My last one I tried metal pallet banding that is this stuff to use. Takes no time at all to sew it to the sides just make sure you put it in the right place to make sure it stays up. All the bags I have done so far need to have metal supports that go up and down the sides.

Not a bad idea.
