Today the ups man dropped off my ghg mallard shells. Well lets just say it only took about a tenth of a second to open the boxes and put them together. THEY ARE SWEET!!!!!!!! The only draw back is the way the heads connect to the body. Some didn't seem to connect right the first time. On some only one tab could connect in correctly and others they seemed to have a gap between the head and the body. Easy fix but I don't think I will want to separate the heads from the body. Because it will be a pain in the butt to connected in the dark. I could be wrong. Maybe after a few times on and off they will become easier to connect. Time will tell. But they are awesome!!!!!!!!!!:D :D :D

I am glad that you like the decoys. I can't wait to see them in action. If the problem with the heads does not get better over a little bit of time, then I would suggest calling customer service to see if they can help you. Thanks for the support of the brand and good luck this season.

The new shells are really going to be the ticket for those long walk in hunts, and to boost the numbers. Can't wait to get them out this fall. I haven't seen the same problem on the heads, but like Curt said if it doesn't get any better try CS.

Thanks for your purchase!

I got my new shells too, and the same problem occured. Some didnt even have open slot tabs to connect the head. Although, the plastic was pretty easy to cut and I got the job done.

*They look just as good as the FB mallards, and I LOVE them. Cant wait to throw em onto a sandbar in NoDak and slam some fowl over em.

Thanks,

Clayton

Got mine today (feeder and active) and yes they are great looking and I can't wait to use them. The only bad part is the head connection area on all of the bodies will require trimming. When pushing the heads on the connection area collapses making it impossible to nearly impossible to get both tabs in place. This can all be easly fixed with a utility knife but there may need to be some modification to the mold. I did have one in which the head connection area was deformed right out of the box. I will get it taken care of with customer service tomorrow.

I also got some of the new fullbody sleepers and man are they sweet looking. A couple will be staying on the mantel until the season starts.

had the same issue with mine. just take a little time and get each head on each body. You may have to spin them around diff directions. once i got each one on and could spin it a few times there hasn't been any other problems with setting them up.

I did not have the same problems. The decoys sat in the house and warmed up for a day making the plastics more flexible. Had I been in town when they arrived, I would have brought them in off the cold front porch and tried assembling them right there.

They look great.
