I am in my garage the other day putting together my new GHG Pro-Grade Lessers... The neighbor kid walks by and says...


"Hey, what are you doin' with all them Penguins???"


LOL I about fell over I was laughing so hard!!!

So I know a lot of guys on here have taken to callin' the Lessers "Chickens"

But now mine will forever be known as "Penguins!!!"

Which brings up an interesting thought... Can you hunt Penguins???? If you can, What kind of decoys do you need??? Do you think having Fully Flocked Penguins would help??? Will there be a GHG Penguin Decoy??? A GHG Penguin 6-slot bag????

Ohhh yeah and just once more... Avery/GHG please, please bring us a 12 slot Lesser/Snow/Speck bag for next year!!!

I don't think thay'd need to be much biger than the 12 slot duck FB bag... Plus I would bet that mosr guys would buy 2 and "Poncho" them...

That is a funny story. I don't think you can hunt penguins, but you can hunt Puffins in Iceland I believe.

That is definately an area on the list for the future. If my memory serves me correct you can shoot the Puffins, but can't bring them back to the US. I know a guy who has one mounted. Interesting bird.

Carrying a 12 slot bag wouldnt be bad at all. We carry a dozen lessers in a 6 slot bag now. It would just make the paint & flocking last alot longer on the decoys if we actually had a bag for them.
