View Full Version : FFD elites
I have a few questions for those that know more about this than me. I bought a dozen ffd's last year and wanted to get more but the waiting list was too long. I live in Canada and the shipping takes 3 weeks to get here alone. I was wanting to know when to order another 8 dozen decoys so I will get them by next August. Do I have to order them in January or is it more about the problem of production that I have to worry about?
The other questions I have are are there going to be any changes to the 2007 model or should I just look for a good deal on the 2006 model?
Last question is where is the best prices for the FF's or are they all about the same?
Thanks for the help guys

As for right now there are no changes for the FFD Canada Geese for 07. You can order these now at anytime and most retailers should have them instock.

We are not looking at doing any changes to the 2007 FFD decoys. You should be able to order them anytime. Where do you buy most of your decoys?
Thanks,
I will probably get them in January or around there. I bought them from mack prairie wing but I am looking into other options with no results. Can anyone help me with a big order to Alberta Canada? It costs a fortune with shipping and duty. It ends up being about $320 a half dozen and I need 8 dozen of them. I don't know of any stores in Canada that sell them. Can any of you give me any advice what to do?
Thanks

Nube, get a hold of Jason at www.canadianwaterfowlersproshop.com, he may be able to get them up here at a fairly decent price for you.
Talked to him already and he didn't get them in this year and who knows if I can trust them to get them for next year in time. Their prices aren't any different than ordering them from the U.S. but I'm glad that at least we have some guys that are trying to get some stuff up here for us.

The only reason why he wouldn't have them in time is because they weren't shipped to him in time, as soon as he got them you would have them within a few days.

Mike,
That is where you are WRONG!
They set up their dealership too late to capitalize on many of the items we make. He is on board for 2007. I am sure that you will see his prices come down. This year he bought all the stuff via the US. Next year, we will do containers straight from China. Not going through the US will save some money.
Thanks,
what are the chances they will be able to have the FFD"s in August? Are there changes made so the same problems that were had this year don't happen again?

Thats great news. I second what nube asks, because if we can't get the stuff by the end of August its pretty much to late for us because our budgets will be spent by then and I like ot have everything in my possesion and ready to go by our season opener on Sept 1.

If they order them, they will definitely have them in August.

I need 8 dozen of them.I think I want to hunt with you. 8 dozen premium dekes is gonna make it real hard on those birds. :D
Thanks for the insight Rick. I will have to make some phone calls and figure out what will be best.

Just make sure all the ducks are in a row early in the spring so you can put together an order with Rick so he can have them to you in August.
